The Friday Five
1. Do you like talking on the phone? Why or why not?
I can think of few things that I like less than talking on the phone. I get nervous, I can never remember what I wanted to say, and I feel at a disadvantage for not being able to read the other person's lips or use their body language to understand what they're saying.
2. Who is the last person you talked to on the phone?
My pookie. Did I say "pookie"? How awful. My belovèd. My cheri.
3. About how many telephones do you have at home?
At home in Vichy? Two. The land line and the portable.
4. Have you encountered anyone who has really bad phone manners? What happened?
Andrés complains about my phone manners because I never talk to him when he answers the phone at Presles and instead just ask for Renata. I can't help it - I hate the phone and want off as soon as possible.
5. Would you rather pick up the phone and call someone or write them an e-mail or a letter? Why or why not?
