The Thursday Tuesday This-or-That?

1. Portland, Maine or Portland, Oregon?
I've never been to either. Neither have I been to Maine or Oregon and neither do I know anything about either state. We'll go with Oregon, because it sounds slightly warmer.

2. New York or New Jersey?
New Jersey has a bad reputation, so I'll go with New York State, even though we once went to a Syracuse Taco Bell where their 59/79/99 cent menu was 69/89/1.09. I was young at the time and very bothered by this.

3. Van Gogh or Van Halen?
Now I think I know
What you tried to say, to me
And how you suffered for your sanity
And how you tried to set them free:
They would not listen; they're not listening still--
Perhaps they never will.

4. Bill Clinton or Bill Gates?
Bill Clinton, I guess. He's rather dopey, whereas the other is probably eeeeeeevil.

5. Leonardo daVinci or Leonardo DiCaprio?
daVinci was a Renaissance Man and a genius. Leonardo DiCaprio should have drowned faster.

6. "American Pie" or "American Idol"?
Don McLean's version is long and Madonna's is dumb. I hated American Idol even as I was addicted to it, so we will go with American Pie (not the sequel) because it takes place in Michigan.

7. George W. Bush or Curious George?
I'll go with the smarter of the two monkeys. Just call me The Man in the Yellow Hat.

8. Billy Joel or Billy Idol?
You may be right
I may be crazy
But it just may be a lunatic you're looking for.

9. Donny Osmond or Donald Duck?
I've never been much of a fan of Donald Duck. I'm not much of a fan of Donny Osmond, either, but I like Mulan and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. I wonder which my sister prefers?

10. Dr. Seuss or Dr. Kevorkian?
"Poor Charlie... tough decision!" We'll go with Dr. Seuss.
