The Love Frigate
Last night's post reminded me about one of my most annoying (to myself) habits. Sometimes I change the words to a song, either by accident or just as a joke, and then that version forever sticks in my head. The example I'm thinking of right now is Yankee Doodle, where the lyrics to the second verse, to me, will always be:
"Father and I went down to camp along with Captain Stubing,
And there we bought three hundred fifty feet of copper tubing."
Aaaaah. Now I am going to have that in my head for the rest of the day. Thanks, self.
