I got a birthday package this weekend from a friend I haven't seen in a year and a half and haven't communicated with for a year. She sent me a letter along with it, so now I'll be writing her back and letting her know what I've been up to for the past year-to-year-and-a-half.
I have no idea what to say.
A year is a long time to catch up on. So many things have happened since the last time we were in touch. I think it would be mean to send her the blog URL and make her read my archives. Tempting, but mean.
How would you summarize the past year of your life?
