Welcome to summer

I probably won't be able to read blogs as frequently, but I hope to keep blogging thru the summer.

After graduation, we went to "lunner" (lunch/dinner) at Schuler's in Marshall. There were obviously a lot of Albion
graduates there and the waitress asked if we had anyone at our table who
was graduating. We all said yes and they pointed at me. She looked at me
and made the worst face of disgust and disbelief I've ever seen in
this situation. No one expects me to be the age I am, but do you have to
make that face? I hated her almost as much as the waitress the night
before at the Round Robin (Red Robin?), who was about 19 years old and kept
calling me "hon". We got back to the dorm and discovered that the RAbid
Bitch had decided that although check-out had been posted as 6:00, she wanted
to leave at 5:00. Luckily that meant that she did
leave early and I never have to see her again. We zoomed around and carried
armfuls of loose stuff out to the car. We drove home and Alex, Seven Dwarf
that he is, happily sang "Hi-Ho" (not the one you're thinking of) and tried
to keep the morale up as he coordinated the unloading. We saw Spider-man again last
night (because we had promised to take Alfie) and I was wearing my hair in
pigtails and had changed from the skirt I wore to graduation into some random
clothes that were sitting around my house (because I still hadn't unpacked
most of my stuff from school). I looked like a very badly dressed middle
schooler and was struck by the idea that I am a college graduate. When I'm
filling out online profiles, I'm no longer automatically "college student".
I'm not going to see my friends at Albion again next fall. It's only starting
to hit me.
