Would you like to know how I feel about this computer?
I hate this computer. I hate this computer I hate this computer I hate this computer. The monitor is about eight feet above my eye level, so I have to tilt my head way back to look at it. By lunchtime, my neck kills me.
On top of that, the keyboard is sticky. Not jam-sticky, but sticky in that I have to pound on the keys to get them to register. I was hoping it was something that could be fixed - some dust lodged in there that was impeding the pressing, or something - but I shook it around a bit and sprayed compressed air all up in it and it didn't really do anything. May I share with you how tempting it is to unplug the keyboard and take it apart, to see if there's something I can do inside? I've never done that with a keyboard that was still in working order, so I'm not sure that it would be a good idea even if I felt comfortable doing it. And it probably wouldn't do any good - I think it's just a sticky keyboard.
So la la la, here I go suffering. I am now kneeling on the chair, which helps my neck but won't do much good for my knees. Yargh. I need a booster seat. Has no one heard of ergonomics?
