Graduation countdown: 30 days

30 days.

My sophomore year, my friend, Trivial Pursuit rival (we are still even, I believe), and crush-at-the-time, Kurt Medland, was selected to be on College Jeopardy. This was months after I had gone through the process and had gotten to the second round at U-M's tryouts. We were all very proud of him and made a video clip to support him, got Kurt Medland t-shirts, made him a campus celebrity, and watched him on TV. He did really well in the first round, but choked in Final Jeopardy. Luckily, he still managed to make it to the second round, where he did very well but choked in Final Jeopardy. Recognize a trend?

So today's graduation countdown is dedicated to my friend Kurt, to whom I would just like to say "Harry Potter" (I knew that one!) and "Psycho" (I knew that one too!). So there.
