Avoidance is harder than it looks

When I got up and walked to the door for no reason, it was because I was going towards the bathroom but Evil Suitemate was doing her hair and I didn't want to walk past her. So instead I loudly insisted that I was insane and had gotten up, walked to the door, and returned to my seat without knowing why.

And for some reason I also said I did it because I was thirsty, which, I suppose, has the advantage of helping out the insanity plea. People don't usually walk around in circles because they're thirsty, do they?
