When someone calls for you and you answer the phone, what do you say?
I usually end up saying something stupid like "I'm me". "This is she" sounds pretentious to me, but I'm sure I won't think less of you if that's how you do it.
Of course, you can avoid all of the complication by just saying "I'll get her" and making stomping walking-away noises, pretending that you have a receptionist to take all of your phone calls. "May I ask who's calling? The IRS? I'm sorry, she just stepped out."
