Stupid people shouldn't breathe
Is it wrong to dislike people on the behalf of your friends? I don't know if it's wrong so much as it's pointless.
I seem to be building a collection of people to dislike, although they haven't done anything to me personally. Sneering at them when I see them isn't really going to do anything because they won't realize how they've offended me and will just think that I'm an unpleasant person.
Take, for example, Bob's little blue-haired friend who talks through class and whines and complains. If I sneer at her, she's not going to connect me back to Bob and realize that I'm sneering at her because she represents all of the annoying classmates who have made my life difficult. (Sneer is a cool word. I think I have used it so many times in this post that it has lost all meaning for me.)
Or there's Pleiad-Blind-Date-Girl (ha ha, just in case you wanted to know exactly who I was talking about so you can sneer too), who called Yen (who is from Vietnam) Chinese and when corrected by Samata proceeded to say "Chinese, Japanese, Oriental, whatever" and continued to call Yen Chinese over and over. Perhaps I should approach them both in the cafeteria, tap them on the shoulder and say "Just so you know, I'm sneering at you. And here's why..."
Maybe I should just mind my own business and let my friends fight their own battles.
