People keep asking me why
People keep asking me why I'm taking my CS
class if I already know how to do webpages. Well the first answer to that
is that I am learning a lot of stuff that you don't learn just by doing -
like the history of the World Wide Web and where hexidecimal codes come from
(varying amounts of red, green, and blue - based on base 16 rather than 10).
Secondly, the class isn't all HTML and webpage design. I don't know anything
about Basic, Cryptography or Mathematica. I want to learn. And thirdly...
it's the only one I'm qualified for. Wouldn't you think that one of the nation's Ten Most Wired Colleges would have more Computer Science classes? I would...
