Dr. Horstman seems funny...
Dr. Horstman seems funny, but he doesn't seem to like anyone, with the possible exception (maybe, but maybe not) of the English. He has a lot of stereotypes about the French (smelliness, etc.) that he likes to throw out and I don't particularly appreciate that. Also, when he was talking about how the English called the French frogs, he asked what the French call the English and the girl next to me said "roast beef" (rosbif) and he corrected her, saying that it was "beefsteak". Wrong. I don't like to start out class knowing, on the first day, that the professor is misinforming us... even if it's something as trivial and unimportant to the course as that.
