Not that I have a crush on Tiff. It's all part of the NaBloPoMo game, folks. ... or is it¹? Anyway, it's time for Volume 2 of Tiff's Great CD Swap. I found myself unable to make one good mix CD of love songs, so I've made two bad ones instead. If you'd like to discover some new music, come and swap CDs at the Great Ann Arbor Mix Swap this Friday at 8pm at Leopold Brothers'. If you're going to come, please let the organizer know so that he'll have enough CDs to go around. I just hope my playlist will be eclectic enough - I've tried to include bands that I've only recently discovered and some French music I assume people won't be familiar with. For some reason, I decided to pull out one of my old mix tapes today, cleverly titled "Mix Tape #2" because it's the second mix tape I made. I listened to it a while, enjoying the music, then looked at the date. It's from 1994. How can this music be ten years old? Where has the time gone? I am old. So here's what I was listening to ten years ago......

Remember the Quintessential Burn? Well, the idea of burning a CD with all of one's favorite songs is a heckuva lot easier than actually doing it. By restricting it to my absolute favorites - the ones I have to turn up and sing along with at the top of my lungs despite the protests and screams of all present - I managed to get it down to 107 minutes. So unfortunately, some great ones had to end up on the cutting room floor. I'll be burning them this weekend and sending them out on Monday. Read on for the playlist...

Well, Burn It! The Summer Edition is at an end. My CDs are burnt and ready to be sent out tomorrow morning. If you're interested, you may peruse the eccentric, not-terribly-sexy playlist of my "make-out" CD (but if you're one of the swappers in my group, don't peek and spoil the surprise!)......
