Last night in my Stephen M. Ross Business School of Business and Hey This Guy Ross Gave Us A Crapload Of Money class, we were talking about employee satisfaction, morale and rewards. Some of the things in our reading were just embarassingly stupid, like suggesting that you should go to clown college because people like managers with a sense of humour (CLOWNS ARE NOT FUNNY) or give out buttons that say "Caught caring!" when an employee does something thoughtful.
