Aren't you relieved to know that you're not a golem?

I just watched Stranger than Fiction. It made me cry and cry. Seeing Will Ferrell cry when he's not just drunkenly sobbing about being in a glass case of emotion really gets to me. This was the first time I've seen him in a straight role, and I was surprised to find that it actually worked for him. As for the movie... I was expecting something totally different. I don't know if it was the marketing campaign or just the presence of Emma Thompson, but I was expecting something along the lines of a romantic comedy, and it wasn't anything...
