I finally saw Spider-man 2 last night. It was very nice, but I was an awful movie-going patron and ended up whispering annoying comments to my companion through the whole thing. It must be rather awkward to be Mary Jane. I mean, when it comes time to send out the wedding invitations, do you invite Harry* Osborn or Peter Parker? Spider-man

Yen, Samata, Alex and I saw Spider-man tonight at the Bohm. I didn't want to see it because I can't stand the cartoon, but it was free at the Bohm so I went. I was pleasantly surprised. It's a Cinderella/coming of age story, a Jekyll and Hyde story, a nice love story, and an action film all in one. It played off well on the fact that it's based on a comic book and the characters were, for the most part, pretty developed. Who can help but cheer for the dorky kid who gets super powers?
