I am your sunshine, your only sunshine

I don't like to toot my own horn¹, but the weather is sunny and beautiful in Seattle again - despite all the rain that was forecasted for this weekend - and the only reason I can think of is that I am here. You're welcome, Seattle! (Note: If it rains tomorrow, it is probably because the gods are trying to punish me for my pride. Yes. It is all about me. Why do you ask?) ¹ False....

Rainless in Seattle

Seattle has a reputation for being bleak and rainy all the time. However, in my vast experience with that city¹, there has been no such weather. When apete and I were in Seattle last weekend, the sun shone warmly down on us every single day. I think I got a sunburn in freaking Seattle. We were told that Seattle only gets 54 days of sunshine all year, so apparently I used up 7% of Seattle's sunshine in one weekend visit. I think it's all lies. I think Seattle is trying to keep the tourists out. It never actually rains in...
