2007: A Srah Odyssey

Hello Internet! I had a relatively Internet-free week (mostly just keeping up with WalkerTracker so that I could actually remember what caused me such abyssmal step-counts). It was awesome, but now I have a lot of reading to catch up on. As for me, I got to spend time with the boyfriend and his family as well as srahfam, have many many Christmases (Christmii?), see Spamalot, and go walking at the mall a couple of times. Now I'm back home with TONS of stuff to unpack, which will probably keep me busy until the next time I go home. This...

I lived in Michigan for the first 26 years of my life and I went to Detroit for three things: hockey at Joe Louis Arenathe North American International Auto ShowDetroit Zoo When I came to Detroit for these events, my family and I often made a day of it, eating dinner in Greektown or somewhere else in the city. But if the idiotic Detroit City Council gets their way and closes the zoo, I will be 33% less likely to a) go to Detroit and b) spend money there. (Actually, I haven't been to a hockey game in years, so...

I haven't blogged much lately - this is about 33% due to the fact that I went away last weekend and didn't have access to my email for both of it and 33% due to the fact that I just got My First Internet but I also got TV and haven't hooked up the wireless router yet. As I must now spend all of my time glued to American Idol and Beauty and the Geek, that doesn't leave much time for being glued to the computer in the office. The other 34% is that I keep meaning to blog something...

Are you a 23 (or so) year old female? Do you remember Jonathan Brandis, star of such great works as Stephen King's It, "SeaQuest DSV" and the 1992 cross-dressing pre-teen comedy Ladybugs, featuring Rodney Dangerfield? Of course you do. Well, he's dead and lost at the bottom of another article about the death of someone I've never heard of. Why don't they ever publicize the deaths of celebrities I actually remember? And where is Mike Vitar these days?...
