I finally got around to seeing the thrilling, award-winning film Moulin Rouge this weekend. Huh. It was entertaining, but I don't quite see why it seems to be everyone in the world's favorite movie at the moment. It was funny and it was different, but it was lacking in many ways. It didn't really pick up at all until the "Like a Virgin" sequence and by then, almost all of the music was over. It was like: First half: Many musical sequences that have nothing to do with each other or what's going on onscreen. I thought it was really...
