We went tonight to see the second annual Jeff Daniels and Friends concert at the Michigan Theater, which was basically a huge love song to the state of Michigan. The artists were all from Michigan or had some Michigan connection, and were singing or pattering in between songs about their love for Michigan. We were a couple of rows back from the governor. I didn't realize that Jeff Daniels was so into musical performance, in addition to his acting and playwrighting. I'm always rather proud of him, because he's managed to stay true to his Michigan roots and his love...
