If I had thought of this earlier (and if I were sure there wasn't anything potentially illegal about it), I would have liked to volunteer (or organize an army of volunteers) to be a line-proxy for the elderly and infirm (or heck, maybe just anyone!) in high-population areas, so that they could take breaks to go to the bathroom, or eat or sit down. It's been sad to read about people for whom even the early-voting lines were too long, especially since turnout was unexpectedly high (at least compared to past years) and so people weren't prepared enough to vote...
