"Do you understand the ballot? Is this your first time voting?" Screw you, lady! I've been eligible for six years! Why didn't I absentee-vote? Lines were terrible, especially for my particular "precent" (as it was labeled all over my middle school gym). I voted. After doing so, I realized that I think both candidates are stupid and I don't want either representing me for the next four years, but I don't have a lot of choice. It's done. So there. Vote NO on Proposal 2 - it's the only thing I really care about. Here's a fun headline: Long queues...

November is setting itself up to be quite a month of negativity as I find myself voting against things instead of for anything. I hate having to do that. I wish I liked Kerry at all....
I am tempted to vote for the CWDHFNFLN...

Voting stresses me out. At the insistence of a friend, I applied to vote in the Michigan Democratic Caucus. So I've spent the past week (well, mostly this morning) trying to figure out who I'm going to vote for. The letter I received along with my ballot asks for contributions to the Michigan Democratic Party and informs me that by requesting this ballot, I have "taken the first step to defeat George W. Bush!" While I'm all about getting that wang out of office, I wish there were a way to rephrase that so that it wouldn't be so negative....
A political observation

Kerry... Dean... Clark... Edward(s)... I think Dennis Kucinich and Al Sharpton should run together on the Candidates Who Don't Have First Names For Last Names ticket....
