I posted this as a response to a call for brownie recipes in the LiveJournal Cooking community, but it occurred to me that a) you might like to read it too and b) (and possibly more importantly) the front page of my blog was starting to get empty. So here you are: srah's favorite brownie recipe 1½ stick butter 4 oz. unsweetened chocolate 2 cups sugar 3 eggs 2 tsp vanilla ½ tsp salt ½ tsp baking powder 1 cup flour Melt butter and chocolate together in a saucepan, remove from heat.
