The best-laid plans of mice and men and girls who look like mice gang aft agley

I had intended to complete this blog post before March Madness began. And then I intended to complete it before March Madness ended. Neither has happened, so this year I'm bringing you my March Madness predictions (or rather March Madness hopes and dreams, because I know that my bracket is never realistic) after you all know the results¹. Exciting, right? Read on for more, MacDuff. ¹ If you are basketball fans, which, judging by the fact that you are reading my blog, I am assuming you're not....

I don't know... I might just be a basketball machine.

It's time once again for Srah's Wholly Unknowledgeable Basketball Picks! You would think that after two non-consecutive years of doing this, I would start to develop some strategy, or get to know the playing styles of some of the teams that are in the tournament every year. Not so! I just pick the brackets. I don't watch the basketball, foo'. I have better things to do with my time, like... uh... well, very important things. Getting paid to live in Belgium sounds pretty good to me. Far from supporting my dream, my parents started pointing out various flaws in my plan, such as the fact that I am a 5'1" girl with no talent or interest in basketball and with a contempt for most athletes. I was horrified and disappointed that my family didn't support my decision automatically and tell me to shoot for my dreams because if...
