There were many requests to see my bridesmaid's dress, so here you are: (I hope someone out there actually has a better picture than that, but that's pretty much all I got.) I am pleased to announce that I performed all of my bridesmaidly duties¹ without a hitch. And that Amanda performed her bridal duties by getting hitched. ¹ 1) Get dress 2) Show up 3) Walk up and down aisle without tripping 4) Don't get bitten by a vampire, so that you show up in photographs....

I just found out that since I moved across town (middle of July), my mail has not been forwarding. I thought I had just been very good about changing my address, so that all of my mail was going directly to the new place. Turns out... not so much. I am, as is well-documented, an idiot. So when I forgot to get my mom to take my measurements last weekend for my bridesmaid's dress, I put off doing it myself until today (they need to be ordered by tomorrow. I am frankly surprised I did it even a day before it was due). I figured there wouldn't be much to it, and the longer I could put off talking to a stranger on the phone, the better. Today I called up the bridesmaid-dress-place and gave the nice lady the information about which wedding party I belonged to, etc. Then...
