Oh, happy day, with joyous glee

After seeing that LiveJournal had been boarded and scuppered in a very subtle and tasteful way, I went to Google to see what they had cooked up for Talk Like a Pirate Day. NOTHING, that's what!

It would appear that Google has never celebrated this momentous holiday.

I expect all the Google employees I know to do their utmost to correct this by September 19, 2007!

I just noticed what LJ did, it's hilarious. Or, um, hilAAAARRRRRRious. Instead of "friends", it's Mateys. And the little dude icon has a patch on his eye.

Yahoo had a nice little photo and mention about "Talk Like A Pirate Day" as did several mid-Michigan radio stations. Ohio just sucks (and I blame Ohio for it's effect on Google, too)!

Monday through Thursday, except that we pronounce our ج as "j" rather than "g".
