United Nations at the mall

My parents are taking representatives of Argentina, Ecuador, the Congo and Bosnia to the mall this afternoon, as our exchange student, Señorita C, appears to have made friends from all of these countries during her first week and a half of school. After the big mall trip, she's off to a dance this evening.

It's funny having a teenager in the house again. The phone is constantly ringing. My sister and I haven't lived at home at the same time for six years, so the last time that happened, I was the teenager and didn't notice my own teenagerdom.

Señorita C has been in this country for about 23 days. I have been here for 23 years and I don't have the kind of active social life and social system she has!

Yes you do. Just look at how much you blog and read blogs and do things related to blogs.
